Yes. We have advanced these days on the path of vows and consecration. Thank you also for yours, for that of all those who look into these chronicles. We know that you remember us every day before the Lord and our Immaculate Mother.

WE ARE STILL ON THE WAY…
Dear Conceptionist family: We are already at another stage of the path we have undertaken.
It is also an important stage and one that we all go through: the stage in which we see, listen, smell...tasting, what we find in it: the path of our consecration.
Throughout it we see flowers, stones, fruits... and we like all of them. Sometimes stones make us trip or sand gets under our feet and makes it harder to walk.
Yes. We have advanced these days on the path of vows and consecration. We have glimpsed in it many faithful sisters: flowers of poverty, ripe fruits of obedience and chastity... and the stones of our difficulties, which have made us stumble and fall. But, in the midst of everything and with everything, we continue to move forward.
On the path there are always important presences: Jesus, the Best companion on the path, Mary to whom we continually raise our gaze and M. Carmen, star of the path... and other presences that have reached us through the communications of the different Organizations, made by the Major Superiors: Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, Brazil, Spain and general houses, who presented to us the path traveled with reference to the Priorities of the XV General Chapter.
A lot of life reflected in its own paths with its ups and downs, falls and rises! And all of us, despite the time and distance, are taking the same route: The Conceptionist path, which M. Carmen and her companions began 125 years ago.
All of this makes us realize that we are not alone, other presences come to our attention through letters from cloistered monasteries, Conceptionist communities, representatives of ecclesial organizations and institutions, bishops,... who tell us of their continuous memory in affection and prayer. Presences that we appreciate from the heart. Thank you also for yours, for that of all those who look into these chronicles. We know that you remember us every day before the Lord and our Immaculate Mother.
We have begun the work of vows and consecration with beautiful and profound prayer motivations that have encouraged us to continue making our way. The work is intense, but not overwhelming and from time to time a short getaway to hug Lord Santiago and leave our presence and prayer before his tomb. We study the synthesis presented to us by the General Government, the result of all the work of the communities. First we reflect personally, then we work in groups and share in an assembly. Everything wrapped in prayer, singing and discernment. Once the synthesis of the vows and consecration has been completed, we agree on the work that will go out to the communities.
Dear family: we are sure that Providence guides us, we do not miss the presence of Mary Immaculate and M. Carmen. We continue making our way with them and we find ourselves in them.
A hug and a prayer from the city of the pilgrim.
