The Subdelegation of the Government of the Community of Castilla y León (Spain), has presented the 'Values for Society Award'to a high school student from the MM.Concepcionistas Segovia School, and diplomas to the students who participated in the initiative. With this award, which was awarded for the first time last year, we want to value the Segovian students' desire for self-improvement and commitment to society. In total, 11 educational centers have participated: Colegio Concepcionistas, IES Hoces del Duratón de Cantalejo, IES Giner de los Ríos, IES Andrés lagua, IES La Albuera, IES Gil de Biedma de Nava de la Asunción, IES Mariano Quintanilla, Escuela de Arte Casa de los Picos, IES Ezequiel González, IES Vega de Pirón de Carbonero el Mayor and Claret school.
The young Lahensia Fills was named the winner of this distinguished award for the values she has shown and that the subdelegation has valued so positively when choosing the winner of this award. The government subdelegate did not want to forget the schools themselves that encourage students to participate in awards such as the values to society, because even if one is finally the winner, all are moral winners due to the teachings that allow them to learn through their participation in the award.
