The Junta de Castilla y León recognizes the MM.Concepcionistas School of Segovia for the implementation of the EFQM Excellence Model during the 2018-2019 academic year
In the province of Segovia, the Ministry of Education has positively valued the quality experiences of 21 educational centers, of which five have been proposed for institutional recognition as best experiences and one has been recognized for the implementation of the Model of Excellence.
The Government of Castilla y León, through the Educational Quality Improvement Program, encourages the implementation of improvements in the educational centers and services of Castilla y León by promoting the development of quality experiences. The Ministry of Education, from the General Directorate of Innovation and Educational Equity, has positively valued 21 educational centers in the province of Segovia for their work in the field of quality during the past academic year 2018-2019. These awards seek to reward schools, institutes, as well as educational services, such as Educational Training and Innovation Centers (CFIEs), for their work in the field of quality.
Among these valued educational centers, the Madres Concepcionistas Concerted Teaching Center stands out, which has been recognized for the implementation of the EFQM Excellence Model during the 2018-2019 academic year. The European Excellence Model is a self-assessment method, which is known by the acronym EFQM and is based on a detailed analysis of the functioning of an organization's management system through criteria established by said model.
On the other hand, quality experiences are understood as all those planned actions that the school or educational service carries out to raise the quality of education through evaluation processes that try to highlight the strengths and areas of improvement of its organization, the plans that are consequently undertaken, as well as the external evaluation and accreditation processes of the levels achieved.
