On June 22 in the morning M. Belén Gómez de Castro, Superior General, accompanied by M. Nieves Rosado, General Councilor, said goodbye to Indonesia to continue their trip through the Province of Asia, destination to the Philippines.
On the morning of the 24th they visited the children's classes and enjoyed the songs of the 4 and 5 year old children. The same day in the afternoon they went to the houses of some of the students... Since they arrived in Manila, while they crossed the city to reach the community, on a long journey, almost two hours, they were able to see the strong contrast that exists there. The skyscrapers, which have very poor neighborhoods next to them, help to prove the deep poverty and wealth that go hand in hand in this country. The welcome from the families and students was always close and affectionate, always offering to share their small space, making their reality known as it is. The days in Quezon were well spent, M. Belén had training meetings with teachers and the community together, on the 28th they left for Bacolod.
