For the organization of the event, the economic cost will be taken into account. The KraCovia WYD cost about 46 million, mostly paid by the participants. Its participation quota covered more than 70%, the State put another 10%, especially for security issues. The rest was paid thanks to donations of parishes, people and companies.

Krakow's World Youth Day
"The World Youth Day is made for young people, but it makes a lot of sense for young people to take forward not only the organization but also expenses. The study carried out by GAD3 also reveals that the World Youth Days are more than a religious event. For the country that hosts it is also a showcase for the world. They ensure that 96.1% of the participants recommend visiting Poland and more than 80% say they have improved the image they had from the country. From the personal point of view, more than 90% of pilgrims say that WYD has helped them deepen their faith and has increased the desire to build a better society.

The next edition will be in 2019 in Panama and a million and a half people are expected to participate.
