Mother María Isabel Moraza, Superior General Conceptionist Missionaries of Education, to all the sisters of the Congregation:
Congratulations on this day that lasts eight more and up to fifty. Congratulations because Christ lives and gives us his life; He does not keep it, he receives it from the Father and gives it to the Church through the Word, the sacrament, the sister, the events,… Christ lives and we live from this deep truth.
Today I want to reread with you two paragraphs of the post-synodal exhortation “Christ lives.” They mark the horizon for each one and for the vision to be projected in the conceptionist mission.
“To put on youth is to have the bowels of mercy, kindness, humility, meekness, patience, bearing with one another and forgiving each other (Col 3:12-13; this means that true youth is having a heart capable of loving. What ages the soul is everything that separates us from others.” CV 13
Dear sisters, how we value the fruits of the Spirit! How we appreciate living with sisters who reflect them clearly! How much peace they leave in our hearts every day that we incarnate them! They are worth more than gold... And this is our daily bread, the one we ask for when praying the Lord's Prayer so many times a day, nourishing ourselves with the fruits of the Spirit.
We have exercised ourselves during Lent to this secret invitation that the Spirit has often whispered; the call to youth that the Holy Father proposes to us:
Christ lives and wants us alive.
Also to you and me, to each member of the community, of our families, of those we meet in the apostolic mission and of all those brothers spread around the world; We form a universal family, mysteriously united.
Congratulations on sharing true life!
There are many teachings in the exhortation. But today I would also like to reread this one, which I think is good for the Easter season, because it fills hearts with hope.
"Whoever has been called to be a guide for young people... has the ability to find paths where others see only walls, the ability to recognize possibilities where others see only dangers. This is the gaze of God the Father, capable of valuing and nourishing the seeds of good sown in the hearts of young people. The hearts of young people must be considered 'sacred ground' bearer of seeds of divine life, before whom we must take off our shoes to approach and delve deeper into the Mystery." CV 67
Precious pearls of great value, those who receive our evangelizing mission, and those with whom we share it, extending our strength, lengthening our arms... St. Carmen Sallés lived it when she said 'what God loves most in the world', and when 'they felt treated as people', children of God. We, their daughters, follow their footprints, learning day after day, in today's society, in every corner of the earth, in their often complex challenges and questions.
There are always seeds of good.
The redemptive mystery that we celebrate has opened a path of life, making us go from 'enemies of God' to 'daughters', heirs of the Father's goods. These goods of the Father are 'the seeds of good', the fruits of the Spirit, says Pope Francis.
We must seek this with zeal, with affection, with determination: the seeds of good sown in the young and less young. Many times, because of our appreciation and valuation, they will grow stronger, they will be chosen more frequently, and they will want to improve the world. It will undoubtedly be a transversal message, which will fight against the current of 'the easy, the comfortable, the selfish, the consumerist'. Our look, assessment, word or advice will be those of the Father, who previously planted in each one 'his own image', and his desire to receive him as a son, and see in him, the image of Jesus.
Christ lives and wants you alive.
Today, on this day of resurrection, illuminated by the light that springs from this great mystery: the death and resurrection of Christ, out of pure love.
