Faith and joy is what there is in Morichalito, of course! But for those of you who don't know it, "FAITH AND JOY" is an International Education Movement, a Federation that was born thanks to the Jesuit Fathers and in which some of our Conceptionist schools in the Caribbean province collaborate and work.
A few days ago, we published an Entry on our blog in which we shared the sad news of the death of a girl from one of the Indigenous Communities of Morichalito, from our School of Fe y Alegría "Carmen Sallés" and with sadness we expressed the precarious situation for what Venezuela is currently going through.
Today we found an article published on a website, which shows us the great work of the Conceptionists in that beautiful place of Los Pijiguaos, where some of us saw our FAITH strengthened and increased and where we found immense JOY.
Reading this article and seeing how they describe the nuns who live there, without exaggerating anything, by the way... makes you feel great emotion and discover that with few resources they work true miracles in the education of children and young people. The lay people who carry the Conceptionist Charism already in their hearts are a gift to the Congregation and remind us of the wish of Carmen Sallés that she expressed to the nuns before dying: "Where I have not been able to go, you go..."
