front page

In the months of July and August, 29 Conceptionist sisters from Spain, Brazil, Italy, Democratic Republic of the Congo, United States, Mexico, Dominican Republic, and Japan responded positively to the invitation to participate in the 2017 edition of the Course. It was coordinated by M. Terezinha de Jesús Duarte, from the General Government, as head of the Permanent Training Sector.
The Meeting took place in Marcilla (Navarra), from July 21 to August 27, with the following courses being taught: charismatic rereading of life as a history of salvation; Mary, reflection of the mystery of Christ; religious vows; wisdom and vocational journey: from a model of perfection to a key of integration; uniting contemplation and action; missionary dimension of the conceptionist charisma; lectio Divina; the mystery of the Trinity and the principle of Communion. He ended with the Ignatian Spiritual Exercises directed by José Antonio Castellot, sj. Throughout this formative period, processes have been followed to help the participants achieve the objectives of this stage of formation indicated in the Formation Directory of the Congregation: to deepen their dedication to God, the demands of love for the sisters and the people to whom our apostolate is directed; foster the relationship with God, from listening to and contemplating the Word; deepen the knowledge of Christ to assume his own feelings and attitudes; delve into the various aspects of the conceptionist charismatic identity. As part of the Encuentro, there were some pilgrimages: to Loyola and Javier; to the Martyrs of Barbastro and the Virgin of Pilar in Zaragoza; to the Virgen del Soto in Caparroso and to the Virgin of Lourdes (France).
They all returned to their communities renewed and happy for that privileged time of training offered by the General Government.
