This is how we could title the experiences that a group of young people transmitted to the entire Community in a simple and familiar dinner shared at the School on October 18. Nobody told us about the activities, the jobs, the places they were... No, that didn't matter. It was important to talk to us with all the affection about the extension of school in the summer "through different activities, which cannot occur during the school year. That's how they titled it, wrapped in a lot of memories and affection, throughout the entire dinner.

This is how we could title the experiences that a group of young people transmitted to the entire Community in a simple and familiar shared dinner at the MM.Concepcionistas Princesa School on October 18.
Nobody told us about the activities, the jobs, the places they were... No, that didn't matter. It was important to speak to us with all the affection about the extension of school in the summer "through different activities, which cannot occur during the school year. That's how they titled it, wrapped in a lot of memories and affection, throughout the entire dinner. First they set each group, their exhibition or their experiences with a video in which they were seen at different times with people or children. There were three groups.

The first one started with THE WORK FIELD, in Pozoblanco. For some it was the first time they had come close to this reality, for others not anymore. It was repeating this reality of disabled people. They gave themselves wholeheartedly to their work, which was somewhat difficult for their sensitivity and strength. But they all remembered the same expression of joy and strength on their faces and gestures. They were referring to the sick and it served as encouragement to them: GO FORWARD. They are wonderful, happy in their gestures and words. Seeing them makes you want to live. You see them happy and they spread their happiness. And it is an experience in your life that you can no longer leave, nor forget, that follows you because of the bonds that have been created. Very strong ties. And of course it is not us who want to return, it is they who, with their love and attitude and gratitude, ask you to come back and pick up what we have left there. You left your affection behind: come back." So, said a young man, how could you not return next summer? It's like continuing to feel a call to your heart of joy and love to live it and renew it. WE WILL RETURN.

And we go with the next group. Those who made THE PATH OF SANTIAGO. There were walks, tiredness, especially some days. But a word so often repeated in the School: Forward, always forward, gave you the courage to overcome fatigue and continue, also with joy and determination, to which was added the example of those like us who took the same route and with the same goals. All this push encouraged us to continue, to take one more step: the example carries us and the goal is not forgotten: keep going, move forward. The goal is near. And in the face of fatigue, always a good Samaritan: M. Esperanza's truck, which appeared at special moments. And forward, always forward like so many pilgrims we saw on this path. We must arrive with good spirits. The effort, the hope and the courage and the willing heart…. And forward, always forward. The goal is already close. And we followed the teachings, what we learned at school.

And what to say about Conceptionist summer camp?. And the fact is that children don't even take vacations in summer. The motto chosen by this group was: “Love the children and you will know how to educate them.” It was a beautiful task as well as something difficult. Well, children are beautiful, but they have everything. They let themselves be loved, wanted. And they make you enjoy seeing how they enjoy themselves, how they play, how they don't stop. How they love you. Sometimes our nights were short and we wanted to rest, but it wasn't always possible. They have a long rope. They made you want to say, "I can't let me sleep," but their little faces, full of tenderness and love, were the big alarm clock. Watching them play, jump, bathe, scream, made you want to go up and give them a hug, a good hug and a kiss. It was school, it was a continuation of school in the summer. We teachers And in the summer when there are no longer closed classroom classes, the excitement, the play and the tenderness that comes out of every pore before their gazes, their laughter and even their anger and ours count. But it's our summer school, it was our children we were educating. We felt like teachers, full of pride. We will continue to be teachers of children.

And the three groups finished with the same enthusiasm. Some visit the sick, others travel paths with an aim and a goal and others treat children with care and love like a school.
And we tell the three groups. ¡CONGRATULATIONS! For knowing how to transmit the values that one day you learned at school.
