On October 20, the Casa de Madrid-Belisana hosted the training meeting for the ICT coordinators of the Conceptionist schools in Spain. 💡
A day to reflect on the challenges of technology and artificial intelligence in the educational field, always putting people at the center.
Led by Arturo Cavanna, Javier Moreno, Mariana Hinojar and Elena Pareja, we delve into the emotional dimension of technology, data protection, the ethical framework and the responsible use of AI in our classrooms.
Elena Pareja, ICT coordinator of the San Lorenzo de El Escorial school last year, participated along with other teachers and coordinators of the Congregation in the preparation of the Ethical Framework for the Use of Artificial Intelligence in Conceptionist Schools.
Based on the current legal framework and the pedagogy of Santa Carmen Sallés, this framework offers guidelines for teachers, families and students to use AI with security, honesty and transparency, always putting technology at the service of the person. During the meeting, Elena shared its most practical aspects to facilitate its application in the centers.
A space for learning and reflection that invites us to continue moving forward together towards an education that integrates technology with meaning, responsibility and coherence with our values. 💡
Because innovating is not just incorporating new tools, but knowing why and how we use them, and what they provide to people.
