XXII Provincial Chapter

The Province of Brazil celebrated its XXII Provincial Chapter from November 14 to 17, at the provincial headquarters in São Paulo/SP. With moments of prayer, coexistence, sharing, faith and hope, the nuns outlined lines of action for the next three years (2025-2027). The theme, “Disciples and missionaries on a synodal path,” reflects the commitment to mission and community, in line with the vision and guidance of the Holy Father, to walk together, as a synodal Church. The chapter was chaired by Mother Belén Gómez de Castro, superior general, and a total of 20 capitulars participated.

“Hope is looking far away, looking towards the future”, this and other motivations encouraged and prepared the hearts of the religious in the preparatory retreat. There were four days of meetings, in which the capitulars dedicated themselves to prayer, balance of life, fraternal organization and defining perspectives on the future of the evangelizing mission in the province.
