We join the pain and prayer of the family of Isabel Solá and the Jesús-María congregation, for the terrible murder of the missionary last Friday, September 2, 2016.

We express our deepest condolences for the loss of the Spanish nun Isabel Sola Matas, killed in Puerto Príncipe (Haiti) last Friday, September 2, 2016.

The 51 -year -old missionary in Barcelona has lived for several years in the Caribbean country, where she was dedicated to working with poor people. The religious, very active among the most humble sectors of Puerto Príncipe, focused on educational support and management of a formidable international solidarity network of support to those affected by the Haiti earthquake through the donation and creation of prostheses.
