The pilgrimage has begun in the footsteps of Santa Carmen Sallés. Yesterday at 8 a.m. we left Madrid for Barcelona to begin 10 days of pilgrimage. After distributing our polo shirts and sweatshirts, the notebook that will help us make the inner journey during these days was also delivered.

Our first stop was in Zaragoza. Remembering what our founder and many of those who have visited this city over the centuries did, we stopped in prayer before Our Lady of Pilar, presenting to her our desire to live these days in deep union with Her and Her Son.

Around 7pm we arrived in Barcelona. There the community of @concepcionistesbarcelona welcomed us with great affection and we knew our “rooms” for these days. To stretch our legs, we went down from the school on a cultural visit along Paseo de Gracia seeing some famous works by Gaudí. Back at school, we had dinner and picked up the day together.
