On September 1, M. Belén Gómez de Castro, Superior General, M. Cristina Mazariegos, Counselor and General Ecónoma and M. Nieves Pink, General Counselor, arrived in the Dominican Republic to make a knowledge visit and also the corresponding pastoral visit. They have started the trip in Sabana de la Mar where a few days have passed with the community visiting the two Elupina Cordero and the Immaculate centers. In both schools they were received with love and affection, very hotly, as usual in these lands.
Very rewarding was also the encounter with the movement of laity conceptionists, always active in the Dominican Republic. Its members transferred their experiences and were very grateful for being able to be part of something that, they pointed out, helps them every day in their lives.
They have been able to meet with the pastor and the current director of the Lyceum. Intense days in which they have gathered the different management teams to chat with them about the institutional educational project.
After leaving savanna of the sea, very grateful and happy, to continue their journey through Dominican lands, they visited the community and the work of Consuelo. From this medium we record its hot receipt. The reception offered by the students to welcome them and their signs of affection to the congregation are appreciated. As are all the details they have had in the community with them and also the work of the pastor that celebrated the Eucharist of Sunday highlighting their presence and the work of the conceptionist sisters in Consuelo.
En estas fotos que compartimos con vosotros a continuación podemos ver su participación en un encuentro intercomunitario realizado este sábado 6 de septiembre con todas las comunidades de República Dominicana. En la jornada se realizó una peregrinación a la Virgen de Altagracia en donde pudieron visitar el museo y asistir a la celebración de una eucaristía. Después de la peregrinación visitaron las preciosas cuevas llamadas "CUEVAS DE LAS MARAVILLAS" conocidas por sus pinturas antiguas realizadas por los aborígenes tainos.
