The well-deserved period of rest begins in many of our communities, to all of you who can take a break, we wish you a good period of rest.
During Rest Time:
- When you wake up in the morning take a deep breath, smile, and give God a round of applause. He deserves it.
- Laugh a little at everything that doesn't work around you. It's not worth getting angry, and being angry doesn't fix anything. Change the frown for the smile.
- Connect with God when you are in contact with nature, when you are with friends or family, when you are alone. He is always listening. Don't work just for Him, learn to enjoy being with Him.
- When you meet someone, always have a story of salvation and blessedness in your backpack to tell. Like Maria, remember?
- Create an ecological space around you where such rare species as reconciliation, tolerance, respect, sensitivity, affection are respected.
- Take time to be with yourself and to rest. You deserve it. Don't cross the path of the heart quickly and have a party.
- Open your hands to share life. There is always some fragrance left in the hand of the one who offers roses.
- Sign up every day for the Gospel. Try to spend at least a minute reading a phrase from the Gospel. Look at it as a beautiful project for humanity in the 21st century.
- Enter every day into the presence of Mary and in her contemplate a beginning of joy and fullness, of beauty and hope.
- Be the living expression of God's kindness. Always give a smile to whoever you meet on your way.
- Do not begin the day without becoming aware that God is with you. And when the night comes, abandon yourself in his arms.
