CONFER (Spanish Confederation of Religious) will dedicate a prayer on September 29, the feast of the Holy Archangels Michael, Gabriel and Raphael, who, as envoys from above and servants of the Most High (as the Scriptures proclaim), have collected the souls of our brothers and sisters who died from the coronavirus and have presented them to the good Father as an offering of the afternoon of life.
What's more; They have been faithful until the end of their days. And in that fidelity that today so concerns our Church (a faithful reflection is the latest document of the CIVCSVA), our brothers and sisters have known how to create that bond of total fidelity, until the end of their days, with the Lord who called them to his service. Therefore, in the midst of the pain of his loss, we feel grateful for his testimony, until the end!
From this, on the 29th they invite all the communities, in their morning prayer, their community Eucharist and in the afternoon prayer, to have a memory for all of them, naming them at a moment in their prayer. And placing the sheet on top of the altar with the names of each one, we invite you in each community to thank God: for your testimony, your fidelity, your perseverance in adversity and your decision to follow God's call until the end of your days. We will also do so at the CONFER.
They invite each community to share that moment with a photo of their altar, with an idea of what their prayer has been like, how they have remembered all these brothers and sisters and wish to share it through the CONFER, we will gladly share it with all the communities from our website. It will be like a small tribute to our brothers and sisters who are gone, but who are still very present among us with their memory and their experience of the faith and charisma that they enriched.
