Today, May 13, 2020, we celebrate a very special day, it is the day of the Virgin of Fatima, One of the many advocations with which the Virgin Mary, our mother, is venerated. This invocation had its origin in the testimonies of three shepherd children called Lucia, Jacinta and Francisco, who claimed to have witnessed several Marian appearances in the Cova da Iria (Portugal) between May 13 and October 13, 1917. In her appearances the Virgin told the three shepherds that prayed to daily El Rosario to reach the peace of the world and the end of the war. Today it is for all known that the prayer of the Rosary is a usual practice among Catholics because, it helps to understand and reflect even more about the life, death and resurrection of Jesus. It is considered a very powerful "weapon" of salvation and protection against sin. The Church encourages all the faithful to pray it more insistence on the moments of greater weakness and personal and social fragility.
