On his Pastoral Visit to the Democratic Republic of the Congo M. Belén Gómez de Castro, General Superior of the congregation and M. Cristina Mazariegos, General Counselor and Bursar have arrived in the central Congo to visit the Loma -Muenze a Velela school. The reception, which you can see in this video prepared and broadcast on the official channel of the Deanery of Mbanza -Ngungu in the diocese of Matadi, has been very educational and enlightening, without a doubt full of affection, good energy and joy. The students starred in several performances with which they illustrated the development of the country and how it has evolved from the life of the indigenous tribes of Africa without divisions of countries and where everyone interacted with nature until reaching modern times led by Belgian/French colonial rule at the end of the 19th century, their independence in 1960 and the current wars that divide them today.
