This July 2019, 18 Conceptionist students from the María Inmaculada School in Sao Paulo (Brazil) are taking a Spanish language and civilization course through different cities of the Iberian Peninsula. This is a tour through the geography of Spain rich in experiences and practical to improve your Spanish. During their stay in Spain, in addition to languages, they will study the history of the Congregation and its founder, Saint Carmen Sallés, they will also address the symbology of the fascinating Basilica of the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona and they will participate in a linguistic laboratory, among many other activities.
They have also had time to take a more summery getaway to Valencia. There they have received Spanish classes, they have visited the Levantine coast and they have been able to practice sailing in a nautical school, in addition to acquiring knowledge at the Oceanographic Center and the City of Sciences in this same city. One of the most emotional moments was the visit to the oratory of Saint Carmen Sallés, founder of the Conceptionist Missionaries of Education Congregation, located in Madrid in our Madrid-Princesa Conceptionist Center. Many thanks to the organizing team of both countries and especially to Luciana Alburquerque, coordinator and companion of the activity, for an experience that our students will not be able to forget.
