The month of September is special in the Indonesian church. It is Bible month, the Church invites us to get closer to the Word of God. Each parish, each Catholic school organizes many activities about the Word of God. For this reason, on Monday, September 2, we begin with a celebration of the Word and prayer in the chapel with some students presenting in each class, while the teachers and the rest of the children arranged in line receive the Bible. outside the school with songs in relation to the Word of God. The quote that M. Aurelie gave us and that animated the celebration was: 1 Chronicles 15, David brings the ark to Jerusalem , she invited the students to become aware of the impact of the Word of God in life, highlighting the importance of joy, of music, in worshiping God in his Word.
To give color to this event in the month of September we will do activities such as reading the Bible, songs or sayings about the word of God and Bible games to help children love the Bible and get closer to Jesus.

From September 3 to 6, 2024, Pope Francis visits Indonesia
This month also has a special interest in the Church especially in the history of the Indonesian Catholic Church for another reason. From September 3 to 6, the entire Indonesian people vibrate with the joy of the visit of the Holy Father, Pope Francis. It is a great joy because it is the 3rd time that the Pope visits our land. On the 3rd at 12 noon, when the commercial plane carrying Pope Francis landed at Jakarta International Airport, along with those who were present there at the airport, our teachers and students in our school also let out shouts of joy and sang with enthusiasm. “ Viva il papa, welcome to Indonesia!”, a national and special song for this joyful event. The school has appeared in the province's newspaper in this moment of joy, with our students and teachers singing to the Pope. The visit to our land has as its theme: Faith, Fraternity and compassion. The topic was very well received by the other faiths with which we live in Indonesia. On those days we are all following the activities, messages and all the events of the Pope's Pastoral visit. On the 6th we said goodbye to him with great joy. His presence has marked not only the Catholic Church, but also the entire people. This can be seen in the comments on the news, from society and from politicians. What has marked people is the simplicity of his life example, his language of brotherhood and his hope in cultural diversity in Indonesia. We pray that this visit brings hope and life to the people of Indonesia.
