D. Luis Sallés, last direct descendant of M. Carmen Sallés, has died. Grandson of his brother Luis Sallés, the one who suffered the accident as a child in the workshop, overturned by a transmission belt, when she was praying in a Church. M. Carmen felt a special affection for him. And Luis for his sister, to whom he attributed the miracle that the accident had no major significance. Luis Sallés lived in Madrid, with his wife Pilar. On December 6, he suffered a stroke and after hospitalization he was taken to a nursing home due to the Alzheimer's he suffered from, where death surprised the residents on April 1. 90 years old, also a victim of the coronavirus pandemic.

Added pain to death is the impossibility of saying goodbye and having a funeral and burial. When possible, a funeral will be held at the Madrid Princesa oratory, where we venerate the remains of Our Foundress.
