Our school Conceptionist mothers of Segovia (Province of Spain) has put into practice the program ‘Accompany. 2’ On the opening day of the course 2018/2019, during which they will be fulfilled 125 years of work of teaching missionaries in Segovia.
The coexistence program encourages creation of aid, support and communication networks between all members of the educational community, - Padres, teachers and students - but above all intertwines the day -to -day life of older students and that of the little ones. To facilitate children and adolescents to walk together for educational life, different accompaniment figures will be created such as the ‘Reading godfather’ or the ‘Scientific godfather’, according to the director of the Concepcionistas College, Carmen Fernández Borregón.

For now and as a practical action of the cross -section, the students of the fourth course of Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO) and Baccalaureate accompanied and guided yesterday the students of the lower courses from the headquarters of the College in the Plaza Conde Cheste to the Cathedral of Segovia. There took place the opening ceremony of the school year in which the 125th anniversary of the opening of the Concepcionistas de Segovia school will be held.
The anniversary and the new educational program merge into the motto ‘125 years accompanying the education of the Segovians 1894-2019. Accompany2 ”that will be present in the activities of the school year. The commemorative programming will be concentrated in the months of January to May. Probably by then the construction works of the new school of El Sotillo (La Lastilla) are already underway.

Opening of the course
As has been doing for years, the educational community of the Mothers Concepcionistas College inaugurated the 2018/2019 course before the image of the Virgen de la Fuencisla, which is in the Cathedral for the prayer of the novenarian in his honor until next Sunday.
Religious and academic acts were distributed in two sessions that added the participation of more than 800 people. At 11.30 in the morning a celebration took place in which the students of the Children's Stage participated, as well as those of the first and second grade course ‘accompanies 2’ for the boys and girls of ESO, religious, families and teachers. The rest of the students attended an Eucharist chaired by Ángel García Revilla and other priests who collaborate with the center an hour later.
