M. Nieves Rosado and M. Ingrid Matos, General counselors of the Conceptionist Missionaries of Teaching Congregation, have made a knowledge visit to the Communities and works of Pozoblanco and Santa Fe (Andalusia, Spain). On this trip they have been able to meet the sisters from both destinations, something very positive to enrich the ties of unity and fraternity.
The visit coincided with the closing, on October 19, of the events that the Conceptionist school of Pozoblanco (Spain) has been celebrating on the occasion of its 125th anniversary. The events began on Friday the 18th with the second presentation of the Musical "CARMEN SALLÉS, UN CORAZÓN PARA HOY" which took place in the theater "El Silo" from Pozoblanco.
The next day, Mayor Don Santiago Cabello summoned the nuns, the school staff and those in charge of the City Council for the words of welcome to the nuns who attended the closing. During this event, M. Benita Espadas, Provincial Superior of Spain, also addressed a few words of gratitude to Pozoblanco and above all to the Lord who has allowed the Conceptionist journey in this place.
Next, everyone went to the parish where the Thanksgiving Eucharist was celebrated, presided over by the vicar general of the diocese of Córdoba, Monsignor Jesús Daniel Alonso. After the Eucharist he blessed a sculpture dedicated to Santa Carmen Sallés in the garden located in the Plaza de Santa Catalina, in front of the main entrance of the school.

The visit coincided with the closing ceremony of the 125th anniversary of the Pozoblanco school, an event that was celebrated with the attendance of other sisters and lay people from throughout the Province. The Conceptionist school of Pozoblanco closed the events it has been celebrating for the last year on the occasion of its 125th anniversary. A closing event included the inauguration of a sculpture dedicated to Santa Carmen Sallés in the garden located in the Plaza de Santa Catalina.

The sculpture represents the founder of the Conceptionist school with a girl, alluding to the training work carried out by the Conceptionist missionaries of education and that continues today. Representatives of the congregation, part of the municipal corporation, as well as the vicar general of the diocese of Córdoba, Jesús Daniel Alonso, attended the event.
The location chosen for the sculpture is motivated by the proximity of the epicenter of Conceptionist activity in the town, that is, the 'La Inmaculada' school. The center has closed the commemoration of its anniversary by adding to the inauguration of the sculpture, the performance of the Carmen Sallés musical at the 'El Silo' Theater, a thanksgiving Eucharist and a day of coexistence that took place at the Fairgrounds. .
