The day indicated for the Meeting -November 25- at our school in Hortaleza, in Madrid, There was an atmosphere of excitement and joy because the 45 members of the MLC who were going to participate in the First National Meeting arrived from all the schools.
Loving welcome, personal identification, and M. Belén Gómez, Provincial Superior, greeted the assembly already gathered, motivated this meeting and invited them to pray with the PENTECOST ICON. This time of shared prayer prepared everyone's hearts to begin the day's work.
Next, M. Terezinha Duarte, Delegate of the Mother General for the MLC, welcomes the accompanying nuns, coordinators and delegates of the groups, thanking them for the initial prayer that had put us in tune with the Holy Spirit.
M. Begoña de Pablo presented the work that was going to be done, and explained how to carry it out. Each working group had to present three suggestions and three challenges for sharing.
After a well-deserved rest and the Angelus prayer, the suggestions and challenges worked on in the groups were presented. The sharing was very rich, not only because of the contributions of each of the five working groups, but also because of the personal experiences that some members contributed, testifying to their experience, the positive that, on a human and faith level, belonging to the MLC means for them. Everyone highly valued the formation that is received in the groups every fifteen days and how the Charisma of M. Carmen is spiritually enriching and giving great strength to our baptismal commitment, in the company of Mary Immaculate. There was a time of very valuable contributions from the assembly on what it means to fulfill the commitments.
When the time came, in an atmosphere of celebration and fraternity, the food was prepared with great detail that helped to recover energy for the afternoon's work.
After a brief break, the documents EVANGELII GAUDIUM, by M. Rosario Moreno, LAUDATO SI, by José Antonio Galiñanes and AMORIS LAETITIA by the couple Milagros Pérez de Madrid and Félix Ruesca were presented.
