The motto: “With Mary we follow in the footsteps of Jesus” was what guided the Meeting of Religious of the Province of Brazil this year. The provincial government established two dates for the meeting, so that more religious could participate. This occurred at the end of the week, starting on September 7, the day that Brazil's Independence is commemorated.

The proposed objectives were: to promote coexistence, fraternal relationships, encourage participants to share life and mission experiences, seeking to grow in communion. The two and a half day meeting, held in Recanto Betania, Embu Guaçu-SP, allowed the 43 participants to experience shared prayer, individual and group work on the preparatory topics for the chapters, culminating with a cultural night prepared for each community.
The last morning of the Meeting was a day of thanksgiving for the 50 years of dedication and dedication to God and the brothers of the religious sisters. MARÍA OLÍMPIA VILELA and CATARINA SALVIANO DA CUNHA Cunha, with a solemn celebration, festive food and return to the communities, strengthened by that privileged moment of formation.
