What caused us shock was to verify the streets without asphalt, excess dust and mixture of homes with high -level appearances next to others with lower situations.
We also caught the amount of small shops in small stores located along the streets. It impresses the amount of schools, children and young people who look in the vicinity of schools.
People walk a lot and the means of transport is the motorcycle and private cars, or taxi.
It shows that the majority of the simple people use taxi or motorcycle. There is hardly any public transport, also in our neighborhood it is not seen. We were impressed with the movement that was on the streets of both vehicles and people on foot, many children who went to school. Awesome! Near other several schools, but it seems that there is no lack of children here. There are people for all schools. On the way we got together with a group of people next to a source where they were going to pick up water. In this neighborhood there is no channeled water, but many houses have their own well.
Those that do not have that well, which is public. We visit each of the classes of our school that serves 412 students from 3 to 11 and 12 years. 15 teachers work at school and have two ayundant plus the four juniors who also give religion classes.
Education is bilingual, French and English, this due to the fact that English is spoken in northern Cameroon and many inhabitants of this area are fleeing for this region due to wars.
We visit another school that is also particular and for this we have realized that our school is well organized and cared for. An aspect of admiring is how good they sing. In general they use more than those that are typical here, but other times it is without an instrument itself, and still very refined.
