Last Monday, October 18, the artist Concha Márquez Piquer. In the 1950s he studied at the Colegio Madres Concepcionistas on Princesa Street, in Madrid, taking part in the Christmas festivals of the School but from a very young age he decided to follow in the artistic footsteps of his mother Concha Piquer and dedicate himself to the world of song.

She was born in Buenos Aires on December 31, 1945. Daughter of the bullfighter Antonio Márquez and the famous singer Concha Piquer, she was sponsored by the Argentine first lady Eva Perón.

He made his debut at the age of 24 in a Benefit Gala at the Calderón Theater in Madrid. A year later, on June 21, 1970, she made her official presentation at another gala, in this case at the Teatro de la Zarzuela, with a recital of 20 songs and accompanied by an orchestra of 35 teachers.

Her success is overwhelming and she is immediately hired by the Columbia record company with which she records several albums, thus starting a successful career. Rest in peace.
