This month, Pope Leo XIV invites us to pray "so that the believers of the different religious traditions collaborate in the defense and promotion of peace, justice and human fraternity." In a time marked by conflicts, the Holy Father reminds us that religions must be "lived as bridges and prophecy," and not as "weapons or walls."
His intention of prayer for October comes while we celebrated the 60th anniversary of Nostra Aetate, the declaration of the Second Vatican Council that transformed the relationship of the Catholic Church with the other religions, opening a path of dialogue and collaboration.
In a fragmented world, the Pope encourages us to be "unity yeast", learning to "recognize ourselves as brothers and sisters, called to live, pray, work and dream together." Let's join the Holy Father in prayer through this video produced by his world prayer network.
