News referring to San Francisco's house during the months of July and August 2018.
Community
This year we divide into two groups to go on vacation to Spain, to always be open to some need that could occur. In the first M.ágeles and M. Irene group they traveled to Spain on July 20 to visit their family. M. Pilar followed his work referring to the papers of our sister M. Shanitha Varghese's visa. For the floods that were lived in India, our sisters also affected and suffered the consequences. M. Shanitha could not go to a meeting he had at the embassy. We hope and pray that all this suffering with the help of God will pass soon and our sister can join our community. On July 26, the second group (M. Carmen, Esperanza and Pilar) left for Spain, also to visit their family. M. Isabel stayed alone in wood and M. Irene moved on August 2 to accompany her. On August 27, M. Esperanza and Pilar returned, since M. Carmen returned to San Francisco on the 17th accompanied by a resobrine traveling to improve her English to Christmas among the 6th students of our school.
On August 10, M. Ángeles and M. Mónica attended the invitation that Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone made to the priests, deacons and faithful to a Mass of Requiem for the eternal rest of the soul of the Archbishop of Monterey, Reverend J. Richard García. On August 12, Mr. Ángeles and Mónica attended a conference on "Religious Life and votes in the 21st century" given in the convent of the presentation by Father Ronaldo Rolheiser, OMI.
School
The 2018 - 2019 course began on August 6 with a meeting of directors of the Catholic schools of the Archdiocese in preparation at the beginning of the new course, which Mr. Ángeles attended. In spiritual preparation, on August 15 there was a spiritual retreat. Fr. Michael Quinn was the one who spoke to all the staff used in school. He encouraged us to know Jesus better through a deep experience of the sacrament of the Eucharist and Mass. On 16 and 17 there was a meeting of all teachers and other employees to schedule the objectives, activities and schedules for the new course.
On August 20, the first day of class. A total of 232 students, with their smiling faces and full of illusion for meeting their teachers and playing with their friends waited for their teachers who greeted with surprise to see new faces. 5 teachers were not known. On August 28, 29 and 30, I find the parents to explain the activities of the course, program to follow in each classroom and expectations of the students regarding the students. We hope it is a good course and we start with mind.
