On the day of the Immaculate Conception, the Carmen Sallés School in Jiutepec, Mexico, celebrated its 25 years of life with great joy. We did it with a Eucharist of thanksgiving, in which the religious community renewed its vows and remembered, with emotion, the path traveled. It was a beautiful day, full of gratitude for the dedication of so many Conceptionists who have left their mark on this community, and for the commitment of the educators who, day after day, keep the mission alive.
On the 6th, as a gesture of gratitude and trust, we made a pilgrimage to the Virgin of Guadalupe to ask for her blessing in this stage that continues. We offered flowers, participated in the Eucharist in the sanctuary, prayed the rosary and toured the most emblematic places of this beloved corner. Sisters, teachers, families and students shared a day full of coexistence, faith and joy.
We closed the day with a visit to Coyoacán, where we were able to admire its corners full of history and the beautiful craftsmanship of this place. It was a perfect ending to celebrate these 25 years, which fill us with gratitude and hope.
