The October 15 the community of Morichalito (Venezuela, Caribbean Province) celebrated with joy the 25th anniversary of its foundation. To do this, they were attended by M. Ángeles Miguelez (founder), m. Amparo Adánez, who for several years was part of the community, M. Trinidad Arce and María Auxiliadora Mariño, who from Ciudad Bolívar, moved to Morichalito for the celebrations. The acts passed since Monday, with an emotional celebration of the word directed by the mothers M.María Socorro, M. María Luz, and M. María Colina. Later they were able to enjoy an indigenous dance prepared by teachers and students. Then, on Tuesday 16, a group of alumni organized for the educational community dynamics, games and recreational acivities.
In both days people were present who throughout these 25 years have shared with the sisters the conceptionist mission of that place. It was a conducive moment to share experiences and testimonies.
We thank God for these 25 years and ask that they be many more.
That our conceptionist charism arrives every day to the poorest and most forgotten. Thank you Lord, thank you María and Santa Carmen Sallés for these years of mission in San José de Morichalito.
