M. Belén Gómez de Castro, Superior General and M. Cristina Mazariegos, Counselor and General Bursar, are carrying out a visit to the communities of the Philippines. There they visited the Santa Carmen Sallés Nursery School in Quezon City and visited the cathedral and the old area of the city with the sisters of the community. Without a doubt it is a destination of great religiosity and great love for the Immaculate Conception. Quezon City is a training community that has a Nursery school that serves the disadvantaged children of the neighborhood.
In this work the conceptionist educational project shines, helping to grow in the midst of values such as love, closeness and education that evangelizes. Together with the visits, no time has been missing to carry out a meeting with the Cavite community in which the Quezon community also participated. With great joy we thank this fraternal encounter and all the details they have had.
In the photos we can see the neighborhood of Quezon City and some of the scholarship families in our Santa Carmen Sallés school. All of them are found in difficult situations given the poverty of the environment in which they live. Therefore, the Study Conceptionist scholarships are a great to opportunity for them and their families. On the visit they were very grateful for what the sisters are doing for their children.
After visiting Quezon they moved to Bacolod destination in which they have been able to visit Carmen Sallés school. The welcome in Bacolod was full of love and reflected a strong conceptionist spirit. His visit has coincided with the week of exams that all students do there, including the smallest ones who already face mathematics exams, among other subjects. No doubt a challenge for them that will help them in their future academic stage.
También visitaron algunos barrios más deprimidos de los que también pueden llegar alumnos a nuestro colegio "Carmen Sallés" gracias las ayudas de la Concepcionist Foundation always ahead, a All My Kids and other aid. With great joy they have been able to verify how the conceptionist spirit, its seeds and its fruits are demonstrated. Thanks for the signs of gratitude of all scholarship families.
On Cavite, Last destination of the trip to the Philippines, have been received at school with love, very emotional and closely at Santa Carmen Sallés school. With great joy, some moments have been able to pass with the students and the teachers who celebrated their arrival singing and dancing. As the visit has coincided with the Day of Consecrated Life, which is celebrated on February 2, they visited a sanctuary to ask for all the conceptionist vocations and for the congregation.
