THANKSGIVING OF THE EUCHARIST CELEBRATED IN THE CHAPEL OF CHRIST OF THE CATHEDRAL OF BURGOS
Words of M. María Isabel Moraza Herrán, Superior General, Missionary Conceptionists of Teaching:
We have become a 'blessed land'. In Burgos, in Segovia, in El Escorial, in Pozoblanco, in Madrid... in Brazil, in Japan, in Venezuela, in the Congo,... in your heart, in each teacher, in each student, in each member of the MLC... thank you be given in this beautiful chapel next to the Christ who heard repeated prayers, with devotion and growing faith. Among them, some poor women, somewhat tired after a night trip, between an uncertain future and a bright hope... thank you, thank you, thank you. This is how their prayers resonate after receiving communion with this Christ who hangs on the cross, the one who lives in the risen tabernacle, the one who makes apostles who proclaim the good news. Thank you thank you thank you. To be a land of blessing because the seed was buried, and it gave fruit... and it continues to germinate.
The third anniversary of the canonization, we celebrate it in the Collegiate Church of San Isidro. A good representation of the Conceptionist family met there. Our gratitude left a mark, as we blessed the plaque that recalled that decisive and prayerful moment that M. Carmen felt. Let's go to Burgos...! Here we came and we wish in this archdiocese to reflect evangelical light, especially in the service of children and young people, from the humble contribution of the school. Thank you sisters, followers of Santa Carmen, after years of experience and work, receiving this blessed land and leaving Jesus the leading role that leads to the Father. Thank you M. Carmen, for your living presence and for the strength and courage that you transmit; for the whisper of grace, for the accurate and demanding advice that never runs out. Thank you María Inmaculada, without you, the conceptionist who lives in every heart would lose her way. With you carrying the white and blue flag we are blessed by trusting in God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Thank you for the fruit of the XVI General Chapter that we will celebrate next July. After many years of walking and marking the north to which the Spirit and Mary lead us. Thank you thank you thank you…
