With deep regret we have known the sad news of the death of Pope Francis after a 12 -year -old pontificate who has been a gift for the entire Church, and especially for consecrated life.
As a conceptionist family, united in the spirit of our founding mother, we raise our prayer
Grateful for the life and testimony of this close, humble and deeply evangelical pastor. His love for the little ones, his tireless call to mercy, and his commitment to a church at exit have been light and inspiration in our missionary and educational walk.
That the Immaculate Virgin, whom he loved so much
, he receives it in the arms of the father and that the light of hope of the message of Easter illuminates this moment of pain in the church.
Rest in the peace of Christ, dear Pope Francis. Thank you for teaching us, with your life, that love always has the last word.
(Words of the statement of M. Belén Gómez, general superior of our congregation).
