Our Concepcionista school in Madrid Princesa opens new facilities in its schoolyard!!
After long months of construction, last Friday, families, teachers, center staff and colleagues from other schools celebrated the opening of this new renovated space at our school in the center of Madrid.
The main objective of the project was to connect the different buildings of the school, taking advantage of and renovating spaces that were previously inaccessible during the use of the patio. The elimination of architectural barriers has allowed natural light to be enhanced in highly used areas, such as the dining room and other classrooms, in addition to generating greater connection and covered surfaces that facilitate the use of the space on rainy days.
In addition, great importance has been given to accessibility by implementing an elevator and a ramp in C/ Tutor and making that entrance accessible for vehicles in case of emergency.
