From July 17 to 19, the Lay Conceptionist Movement of the Province of Brazil (MLC) lived intense days and full of grace during the meeting held in Betania, Embu-Guaçu (SP). With the motto "Lay conceptionists on the Synod Camino with Mary" the encounter gathered religious and laity of the cities of São Paulo, Passos, Machado, Frontera, Brasilia, Mococa and Bethania.
From the beginning, the participants were received with the special message of M. Belén Gómez de Castro, Superior General of the Congregation and M. Rosario Moreno. The formations were carried out with deep affection by M. Marlise Peters, provincial superior, and M. Wanilda Melo, pedagogical director of the María Immaculate School (CMI-RJ). Inspired by the book "Conversation in spirit", the participants reflected, shared and experienced an experience of synodal discernment.
The program also had an lively cultural night, where each group taught a little of their city through creative presentations and typical dishes. They were marked by prayer, study, sharing and fraternal coexistence, strengthening the conceptionist spirit and highlighting the presence of Mary in the secular walk.
