On Friday, January 16, a Training Day took place with the Local Councils and Superiors of Spain in the center of Madrid-Hortaleza.

MORNING DAY:

“I am among you as one who serves.”

“Take off your shoes because the place you step on is sacred ground.”

With this confidence and with this spirit, we religious women have begun to form the Local Councils of Spain, organized by the Continuing Formation Team of the Province.

With the theme: “TOWARDS A HEALTHY OBEDIENCE” and with the speaker Gloria Rodríguez, consecrated woman of Regnum Christi, responsible for the Safe Environments office of CONFER, 43 religious at the Colegio de Madrid-Hortaleza, we have delved into the influences of POWER in our lives, in our personal and community history.

New horizons have generated feelings that help to mature, encourage discernment and call for awareness, to enjoy healthy relationships, building fraternities open to dialogue, respect, truth, freedom, love, to continue GROWING TOGETHER.

AFTERNOON DAY:

The afternoon was a moment of grace and fraternal experience, as the General Government Team presented with clarity, objectivity, coherence and cohesion the final result document of the work carried out in the Enlarged Council in Rome.

With the title “We lead with faith, we inspire with hope”, they transmitted to the sisters the content of the document and the proposed itinerary to work on it in each community.

The main objective is to discover the guiding son of hope, synodality and mission that water the entire document to care for unity, renew our vitality and ignite the flame of the Conceptionist charisma with missionary dynamism.
