To crown the Year «Family January 26, 2022", Magazine Catholic education dedicates the monographic section of no. 4/2022 on the relationship between "Education and the Family", the result of collaboration between the Department for Culture and Education and the Department for the Laity, Family and Life. The theme offers the opportunity to highlight some crucial educational challenges, which today are in the spotlight of the Church and of society. These require clear and effective trajectories also from the pastoral point of view.

Contributions come from experts specialized in anthropology, theology, psychology, pedagogy, law and economics, as well as people involved at different levels in the pastoral field. The leitmotif of all the contributions is the Magisterium of Pope Francis, with special reference to January 26, 2022: in the Apostolic Exhortation the educational challenge is in fact present in a transversal way and intertwined with the vocation to family love.

We especially highlight the intervention of Professor Gabriella Gambino, Undersecretary of the Dicastery for the Laity, Family and Life, about the topic: "Family, moral education and responsible freedom». Experts contributing to the monographic section include Philippe Bordeyne, Julia M. Dezelski, María Teresa Cid Vásquez, Luigino Bruni, Raffaella Iafrate and Elena Canzi, Robert Cheaib.
