First Vocational Coexistence in Arroyo Barril - Samaná

On February 15, 2026, MM. Cristina Rodríguez and Mercedes Marty participated in a vocational gathering in Arroyo Barril with young people from the Santísima Trinidad, Nuestra Señora de las Mercedes and Nuestra Señora de la Asunción chapels. The young people came from Las Pascualas, Las Garitas and Arroyo Barril where the meeting took place.

The young people were around 35 very active in their chapels, each group came with their youth group manager. The aforementioned topic was explained to them, they were presented with a group dynamic led by M. Mercedes Marty, including the objective of the topic.

Cristina Rodríguez explained to them the work related to the topic, as well as what they had to do and then share it in the assembly. They were shown the film Saint Teresa of Calcutta for about 45 minutes, which was connected to the topic. At the end, the reason for this film was explained to them.
