As part of the Emotional Education Project, our students from La Concepción School in Maracay shared an extraordinary activity called "Abrazos gratis". This activity taught us that a hug is a bridge that is built between two solitudes to remind them that they are not alone. It's funny how something so simple, that doesn't require words, can rebuild a low mood in seconds. As living beings we all have the same basic needs for recognition and affection, no matter who we are or where we come from.
