The province of Brazil is partying! Between March 6 and 9, the community of São Paulo met with joy to celebrate the 50 years of religious life of sister Joana de Lourdes Ferreira, in gratitude for its devotion and dedication to the conceptionist charism. The celebrations began with a triduum in the chapel of the Immaculate School Mary, with masses on March 6, 7 and 8. During these moments of prayer, the community was able to relive the charismatic walk of Sister Joana, expressing gratitude for her life and tireless work. On the last day of the tridua, sister Marlise Peters, provincial superior, gave a testimony highlighting the availability of sister Joana and daily to the needs of the congregation.
On March 9, the golden jubilee date, the festive mass was held at 7:30 a.m., in the Santa Carmen Sallés residence chapel. The celebration was marked by the emotion and gratitude of all present, who praise the Lord for a life full of Christian testimonies. Congratulations, sister Joana! May the Lord continue to bless your trip and may your example continue to inspire generations.
