This week, in Belisana, we held the Meeting of Directors of our Conceptionist Schools in Madrid, San Lorenzo de El Escorial, Santa Fe, Pozoblanco, Manzanares, Burgos, Ponferrada, Camponaraya, Segovia and Arenys de Mar.
The meeting began with the greeting of M. Mercedes Romero, Provincial Superior, and M. Carmen Fernández, responsible for Provincial Mission. We also had the presence of M. Belén Gómez de Castro, Superior General of the Congregation, who shared the challenges of congregational leadership extracted from the recent Expanded Council held in Rome: communication, communion and vision.
We had the privilege of listening to speaker David Cerdá, philosopher and economist, who presented us with tools to lead with purpose in our centers: Lead collaboratively to transform society through education by applying creativity, critical thinking and ethics.
The meeting continued with teamwork dynamics aimed at sharing, strengthening and establishing common criteria to move forward together. On October 24, participants reflected on the topic “Directors with purpose: We think about our center”, addressing issues such as the essentials of each school, the lines of action marked by the Chapter and management projects.
We thank the Provincial Government for its dedication in preparing these meetings, which strengthen the unity and joint work of our Conceptionist schools.
