The Church of Brazil, together with the entire world, celebrated on February 2 the World Day of Consecrated Life, instituted in 1997 by San Juan Paul II. The date, which coincides with the liturgical party of the presentation of the Lord, is a unique opportunity for the entire Christian community to reflect, celebrate and pray for the different consecrated life forms, essential for the mission of the Church.
In each locality, on the occasion of the Jubilee Year, the World Day of Consecrated Life reinforced the call to missionary life and hope, inviting the Church to celebrate and support those who, with their life, are witnesses of God's love in The world. Our conceptionist communities sought to participate at this time in deep communion and prayer with the Church, renewing the commitment to witness faith and service, wherever we are.
